Adexen Recruitment Agency is looking for a Marine Consultant to support the development of its recruitment activity in the marine sector.

Job description
The Marine Consultant will be in charge of developing Adexen's Nigerian activity in the marine sector.

This role is a challenging opportunity for an entrepreneurial and ambitious profile who wants to build a career in talent management within a global brand.

He/she will be responsible of operational management of major marine recruitment process for Adexen’s international and local clients and will contribute to the business development of the company.

He/she will report directly to the Headquarter.

The position is based in Lagos

Responsibilities
To supervise and manage all the recruitment missions for local crew profiles, such as captains and marine engineers
To identify, source and select candidates for all assigned missions
To improve Adexen’ connections within the marine sector
To maintain a permanent communication with all marine candidates
Prospective candidate will be responsible for CVs screening and profiles’ analysis
To conduct pre-qualification phone meeting
To conduct individual face to face meetings
Organization and lead of individual and collective recruitment meetings in the office and with or for clients.
To create evaluation grids and meeting analysis grids
Creation and implementation of marine tests dedicated to the evaluation and recruitment
Writing debriefs and presentation of qualified profiles to the clients with the support the team members
Rigorously follow the recruitment processes and accurately manage the candidates till resumption.
Manage the databases for individual missions and constantly update it accordingly at each stage of the mission.

Qualifications and experience
Possess Marine Certificate of Competency (preferably OOW / Mate / Engineer...)
Minimum of 2 years seatime experience in the marine industry
Previous experience in an HR department or in a recruitment / consultancy Company will be a plus
Knowledge of the key marine companies operating in Nigeria
Perfect knowledge and understanding of local marine labour markets and employment law regimes within Nigeria
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Excellent user of MS office
Communication et presentation skills
Knowledge of French/Portuguese will be a plus
