Job description
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Assist the Project Management Team to ensure compliance
with Client and OUR Pipeline Project safety objectives throughout the life of
the Project,
To supervise Node Survey, Erection of Fencing, Node Site
and Platform Preparation, Trenching, Concrete Pipe Support Construction,
Backfill and Compaction of Trenches, Internal Road Construction in order to
achieve a proper execution of all CONTRACTOR activities and work for these
areas and disciplines,
To supervise Materials Delivery, Prefabrication of Node
Piping and Mechanical works, Welding, NDT, Above and Below ground Coating,
Piping Transport, Piping Installation at Nodes including, Pig Traps, Insulation
Joint, Metal Pipe Supports, Cathodic Protection in order to achieve a proper
execution of all CONTRACTOR’s activities and work for these areas and
disciplines,
To manage technical interfaces with involved third
parties (Owners & Subcontractors). Particularly in consideration of SIMOPS
environment and Permit To Work system.
To assess the seriousness and urgency of possible
engineering & construction problems encountered by or with CONTRACTOR, and,
when necessary, to obtain an acceptable remedial actions plan from CONTRACTOR,
To assess the relevancy of the construction related
variation order (VO) issued by CONTRACTOR, and prepare supporting data for the
purpose of the internal VO Review Meeting,
To maintain good relationships with CONTRACTOR and Third
Parties,
Keep informed the Site Representative of all events which
may affect the successful completion of the Project goals,
To co-ordinate the activities of the various COMPANY
Inspectors in his area, and clarify the interfaces between their respective
scopes of responsibilities when and as required,
Assist the Site Representative to co-ordinate the OUR Pipeline
Site Quality Control, Site Safety, Site Engineering and Site Services as
required,
Application of Client policies, rules, procedures and
General Specification (GS),
Job requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCE
More than 15 years A/G Oil & Gas Facility Construction
proven successful experience in an equivalent multi discipline position.
Experience Pig Trap Launcher, Receiver and Hot Tap installation required.
Proven leadership capabilities + Strong reporting and
organizational skills
Fluent in English language, French is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills and ability to
communicate efficiently
Autonomous, self motivating but active team player +
Hands on PC programs (Word/ Excel etc.)
