Role Summary/Purpose: Our Imagination Breakthrough (IB) Project
in GE Healthcare is designed to drive organic growth for the GE Healthcare
business in Nigeria through expanding on current business and developing on new
business models to help discover untapped growth potential in the market.
Our IB Leader in Nigeria will help define
and implement our growth strategy as a business across on product portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities The role will be responsible for selling
the company’s solutions, products or services to and maintaining relationships
with existing and new accounts. The role will focus on critical, large,
complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts and
projects within the private and public field and will be responsible for the
development of new business opportunities for new products and / or emerging
areas.
• Help drive country specific strategy for
GE Healthcare to drive growth, with focus on high impact, strategic
initiatives.
• Integrating and coordinating with GE and
GEHC field teams (products and services) to drive orders and transfer growth.
• Creating and executing on strategic
business plans
• Analyse and communicate the trends and
customer needs in their market, and communicate clearly with a passion to
engage senior management and deploy the appropriate resources to maximise GE’s
business results.
• Producing solutions proposals based on
customer needs
• Establishing executive relationships, or
managing government/corporate contracts
• Maintaining a solid understanding of
current market dynamics and healthcare trends within the different government
agencies.
• Maintaining familiarity and operating at
all levels within all government or group purchasing networks
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to
create competitive advantage through integrating GEHC products and services.
• Effectively leverage key industry
information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in the
marketplace. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, providing
leadership and direction where there are crucial customer interfaces.
Strengthen the external image of the business with luminaries and
thought-leaders.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum 7 years of sales / business
management experience with strong track record in high-technology product sales
• Deep knowledge of healthcare market and
environment an advantage
• Education to Bachelor Degree level, MBA
an advantage.
• Strong sales experience and substantial
P&L management experience with significant track record. Strong business
acumen
• Proven ability to influence and drive
change through exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant
improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals.
• Great presentational skills, able to
present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.
• Demonstrated executive level relationship
building
• Demonstrated GEHC Network Experience
• Understanding of customer/marketplace and
drivers that influence customer behavior. Talent for ensuring satisfied
customers by providing value-added products and services.
• Ability to resolve complex issues within
area. Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet
objectives. Proven ability to effectively communicate across a distributed
workforce
• Fluency in English language
