Roles and responsibilities    
       To effectively manage the organisation’s relationships with relevant external research bodies
       To maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of developments in policy and practice in relation to the ICT Industry
       To effectively manage strategic level projects to budget and schedule and to meet their objectives and outcomes
       Business case development for new product opportunities (build/buy/partner) or market entry strategies.
       Define product and segment specific research to understand the competitive landscape, customer segmentation, and customer satisfaction drivers.
       Develop business plan, including strategic requirements, pricing; costs, revenue forecasts; capital costs, profit. Analyze and define roles and responsibilities of all ecosystem players, distribution channel alternatives and develop go-to-market strategies that diversify/grow and/or simplify sales and ultimately provide a superior customer experience. Strategies will be assessed based on what the Company will build, partner or buy based on agreed upon criteria, including risk/return, market materializing for adoption and competitive alternatives.
       Work closely with internal/external facing teams to develop marketing strategy and messaging for new/existing products such as: out-of-box experience / on-boarding, user education / tips, feature nomenclature, in-product help / tutorial requirements, feature tours, etc.
       Track consumer feedback, customer care, customer satisfaction, dashboards and metrics to measure success and engagement of new and existing products
       Attend industry trade shows and Product conference calls with appropriate departments.
       Drive product evolution and develop customer/stakeholder segmentation strategies -- evaluating product enhancements and customer change requests against strategic product direction, agreed upon contractual commitments and target markets

Skill set  
    Bsc, M.Sc, Professional qualifications
       Previous experience or exposure to research, consulting, and/or corporate development and/or experience in ICT industry is considered a plus.
       Experience in the selection and application of a range of methodologies for data collection, input, analysis and reporting.
       Excellent communication and report writing skills, and in particular the ability to produce very clear, concise and accurate written copy and graphic material for a range of readers, responding to individual needs.
       The ability to work confidently and productively on own initiative, and to manage a diverse and demanding workload to set timescales and deadlines.
