Job Title:Payroll Officer
Department:Finance
Location:Lagos

Job Description:
Task Complexity: PAYROLL ADMNISTRATION Ensure that all payroll related inputs like Phone Bills deductions and reimbursement are submitted promptly Review all payroll related inputs and check for accuracy -Co-ordinate and collate all tax reliefs and claims for input into the payroll system -Performs a first line review of input of overtime allowances, shift allowances, callout allowances, etc into the payroll system -Reviews input of statutory deductions (PAYE Tax , NHF ), spouse and staff phone bills etc Run the payroll software -Update new employees pension and NHF numbers on the payroll system -Review cost center changes, all deductions and check for accuracy of payroll -Print out schedules of statutory deductions ie PAYE, NHF, Pension etc -Advise and resolve all payroll statutory related complaints and ensure prompt resolution PAYROLL RECONCILIATION Provide relevant payroll reports -Monthly upload of staff salary cost in IFS -Reconcile the impact in the general ledger for all payroll statutory related accounts -Reconcile all remittances with banks and collection agents -Provide adhoc reports on staff salary costs to the relevant units within finance Capture all staff exit transactions for reporting purposes -Ensure exited staff are not included in payroll -Review exit computations to ensure statutory compliance -Clears all repayment cheque through Finance Operations -Raise all appropriate entries on IFS Raise all entries relating to cheques issued from the salaries unit, fund transfer instructions, stopped/returned salaries Reconcile all salary-related general ledger accounts Assist in the preparation of Salaries unit annual budget Review salaries journal vouchers raised manually to determine their accuracy and to ensure they impact the correct general ledger accounts Monitors the amortisation and accruals of all salaries related payments

Job Conditions:    Extended working hours may be required Normal Open Plan Office Extensive travelling across Nigeria

Reporting To:      Salaries Manager

Required Skills:
Act as internal auditor for salaries unit Liaise with all other departments on the issue of staff salaries cost as it impacts on their various cost centers Obtain tax clearance certificate for all employees of MTN Assign payroll queries to relevant units and coordinate the responses on all payroll related queries Provide inputs to improvements in payroll processes and procedures Provide support during any payroll related tax audit

Job Title: Corporate Finance Analyst
Department: Finance
Location: Lagos

Job Description:
•Aggregate and Analyse data on expenditures relating to CAPEX and OPEX to optimise cash forecast.
•Facilitate the administration and settlement of MTF related payments ( Principal repayment, Interest and fees as it relates to borrowing)
•Prepare monthly journals (Accruals and amortisation schedules) and ensure they are in line with accounting standards.
•Monitor and confirm the completeness and accuracy of Corporate Finance related GL posting
•Analyse and prepare Treasury reports  such as Cash collection reports, FOREX exposure report by Purchase Order, Monthly cash disbursement report and other  reports that will aid in financial management decision
•Facilitates the seamless settlement of all technical and management service fee to holding company
•Prepare weekly exchange rate and upload on IFS
•Prepare month-end exchange rate for reporting and circulate by last working day of the month
•Facilitate settlement and administration of shareholders’ dividend distribution (Assist with all exchange control approvals needed, confirm settlement to the company secretary and ensure accurate posting on IFS)
•Act as focal point for Treasury Accounting responsibilities ( Monthly verification of credit interest and bank charges, booking of banking investments, funds transfers and income, review reports on dealer and post paid collection sweeps and also compile necessary documents for year end audit)
•Prepare Treasury Yearly budget, upload to Hyperion, and prepare monthly budget variance report to SM Treasury
•Analyse Forex purchase  data for regulatory reporting to CBN
•Maintain financing records and audit trail in strict compliance to MTNN policies and procedures.
•Maintain best practice as it relates to corporate finance policies, processes, and procedures
•Manage and ensure preparation of  reports for year end audit as relates to financing
•Despatch and circulate  all authorised reports to Lenders and Financial Institutions
•Collate information relating to MTNN business for updating the  Supplemental  Information Memorandum to the Lenders
•Provide support to Corporate Finance Manager as may be required from time to time

Job Conditions:    Normal MTN N working conditions. Extended working hours as may be required on a regular basis
Reporting To:      Corporate Finance Manager

Required Skills:
•A first degree or HND Diploma in Accounting, Economics or any Finance related discipline.
•Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
•At least 4 years experience comprising:
•Experience in Financial Environment in corporate finance, Accounting  and Financial statement analysis
•Strong Knowledge of ERP (IFS)
•Knowledge in Trade Finance
•Experience in Management Information reporting application (OFA)
•Experience in good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment
•Experience in cash management and Corporate Finance 
•Experience in Corporate Treasury environment
•Up-to-Date knowledge of the money and capital markets

Job Title:Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist
Department:Marketing and Strategy
Location:Lagos
Job Description:

•Gather and analyze data for strategic, operational and tactical decision making
•Solve intelligence and information problems and provide insight from incomplete information
•Participate in Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives to enable management make accurate and timely decision
•Assist with the development of  products, services, strategic technology, market and financial plans
•Participate in the development and review of user requirements and/or functional specifications that relate to systems implementation and appropriate use

•Assist in the assessment of product feasibility

•Provide an articulate understanding of secondary data sources and knowledge of competitive trends and industry direction
•Provide prompt resolution of BI systems issues related to integration of peripheral systems
•Participate in designing and implementation of BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses
•Participate in the selection, blueprinting, requirements gathering, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users
•Ensure high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing
